My Breeding Goal
I am a preservation breeder of AKC Rhodesian Ridgebacks, dedicated to producing healthy, well-adjusted, and happy dogs that exemplify the breed’s standard and original purpose. For over 40 years, owning, training, showing, and breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks has been both my passion and my lifelong commitment.
I breed selectively, planning litters only when I am seeking a new pupppy to bring forward into my own show program. All puppies are raised in my home with careful attention to early socialization, temperament development, and overall well-being. My breeding program emphasizes sound structure, correct conformation to the RRCUS Breed Standard, and stable, sociable temperaments. Health, longevity, and breed preservation are central considerations in every breeding decision.
All breeding stock is thoroughly health tested, including evaluations of hips, elbows, eyes, thyroid, cardiac health, degenerative myelopathy (DM), early-onset adult deafness (EOAD), and comprehensive Embark genetic testing covering more than 270 inherited health conditions.
I am committed to producing high-quality Rhodesian Ridgebacks and to placing each puppy in a carefully selected, responsible home where it can thrive.
I am a member in good standing of the American Kennel Club (AKC), the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States (RRCUS), and the Sunshine State Rhodesian Ridgeback Club.
